	John Weeronga Bartoo Hello my name is John Weeronga Bartoo (Quiet Man). Since I started painting in 2003 my art has taken me to many places in the world. I am an Aboriginal Australian. I live in the mountains near Warwick in Qld, it is a long way from the tribal lands of my ancestors in South Western Qld and Western New South Wales. Art has given me the opportunity to travel this land and study my culture. I have exhibited extensively internationally and have won a number of art prizes both in Australia and on the international stage. My paintings are stories about myself, my family & my interpretation of the Dreamtime stories. I am happiest when sharing my culture with others and get satisfaction when people get something from my work.
