This sculptural wall mounted piece was inspired by many walks through the National Parks of the Caldera. It is a deliberate effort to embody and reflect all I love and value about living in Far North NSW. I wanted the viewer to see themselves encompassed by all the elements of natural wonder that we enjoy here and in so doing be reminded of our place in the natural order. We are a part of natural world and as conscious beings we are responsible for its care. As a passionate advocate for environmental care I also chose to use a frame of Camphor- a timber of great beauty that in this application finds a better place then growing wild in our part of the world!
