Sue Robinson
I showed a flair for Art at school in the 1960’s in England and received high results for Art and Craft in my H.S.C.’s plus a book token.
Pleased my Parents with the result of the painting by numbers they bought me so much, my Father then introduced me to oils which is now a good forty years ago.
I continued to go to night school for Art after leaving school and continued to paint on and off till in the 1980’s, when started to exhibit locally in the North of England including the largest Art’s and Craft Exhibition in the North East of England.
After emigrating to Australia in 1988 with my young Family I have continued off and on painting while busy working and bringing up a family since but only started Exhibiting again locally about 2002 onwards and became a member of the Central Coast Art Society also.
I have been entering The Art of Sydney Awards as well for a quite a few years and in 2007 was successful to have it hanging in the Maritime Museum at Darling Harbor for Australia Day, this same painting was successful in getting into 2007 Gosford Art
Prize at the Regional Gallery after only my 3rd time to enter and was sold while on display in the Gallery.
Finally I have been continually entering every year all the local Exhibition as well as The Art of Sydney Awards and Gosford Art Prize to date and on the Central Coast Art Society’s website.
