Wayne an Australian self taught artist has been painting most of his life and was influenced by early Australian / European landscape artists. Intrigued by the masters techniques he continues to experiment with mediums and form to produce his works. Intrigued by the ocean and waves Wayne has spent most of his life in and around the ocean, surfing for over 38 yrs gives him his eye for creating his observations with the elements. " I love the spiritual feeling the ocean gives and cant get enough of re creating on canvas the colours and energy God gives through the ocean". Wayne's work has been published on book covers and featured in magazines and newspapers and he has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions and has exhibited both nationally and intenationally as well as having his paintings in collections in both. He was recently inducted into the Wyland Ocean Artists Society USA and often raises money for ocean and enviromental charity organisations through the auctioning of his limited edition prints.
