Pam Dunne
Pam Dunne was born and educated in Wales. She trained as a primary school teacher London, majoring in Art & Design. At this stage of her artistic career she worked mainly with fabrics and collage.
After emigrating to Australia in 1977 she studied Art in evening schools and later studied the Fine Arts course at Seaforth TAFE. Pam had now moved on in her career to painting in oil and acrylic.
Then for the next 20 years art was put aside for work and raising a family although she did manage to keep her hand in with a local life drawing groups. At this time she lived in Narrabeen and taught locally. In 1998 she moved to the North coast to teach in Tuncurry.
Since retiring in 2006, she has returned to art, this time working with watercolour and creative techniques.
She is a lover of Australian bushland and the rural settings around the Great Lakes. All these have been preferred subjects for her paintings, along with a wide variety of subjects for her abstract works.
Pam’s work has been exhibited and sold throughout the local area for many years. Her most recent awards are
1st Prize for her abstract entry in the Great Lakes Art Society Open Exhibition in early 2011.

She enjoys participating in workshops at the gallery where her wide artistic repertoire is constantly being expanded. She also attends a wide range of workshops by different artists.
Pam is an active member of the Great Lakes Art Society and a member of the Executive Committee.
