My father has a lemon tree that my sister elizabeth aptly named “the sacred lemon tree” It’s a magical lemon tree ..it’s been growing for more than 38 years and should have died off by now as lemon trees usually only live for a certain number of years 15-20 years I’ve been told..dad has looked after this tree so well..and we enjoy our time picking the ripe fruit and they are so wonderful..the aroma of the ripe lemons ..the flowers and the fruit is something unforgettable .
