A bright little painting 20 inches x 20 inches Lady in the sunroom.. I was thinking of those very warm summer days when we all like a bit of a siesta time..it might be mid afternoon.. maybe some grapes and some time out..and not so many clothes on..it’s warm and the birds have found a way in to enjoy a few crumbs in the sunroom I rather like this one..and the colours are pretty good as far as I can see.. might speak a bit of an exotic location ..maybe I’m dreaming of a tropical place.

I like this one of a woman outside ..sitting on a rock.. she looks very white I know but it was intentional to make those stark contrasts that I wanted here I hope you enjoy this one I just have to add that I’m quite pleased with myself in painting this one as I never have any models to work from..and never copy from anyone elses work..so this body has come straight up out of my own mind and imagination..

I entered this painting into the Mundaring Open Art Acquisition Exhibition but it was rejected on the grounds that it is pornographic. I don't think its pornographic, what do you think? Not arty gestural nudes but solid real nudes that celebrate the beauty of the female body. Almost tactile, the skin and the silk drape..It takes a lot of work, but in the end she almost comes alive. The artist’s dream, to turn coloured paint and paper into a real warm person. Sensuous and patterned.
