Barbara Rose
Born in Durham (North East England) Now living in Perth, Barbara Rose takes after her mother Ella Bailes for her artistic abilities. Ella was famous for her paintings of wild animals, horses, hunting scenes, all set in the country side.
My Mother sold many of her paintings, to Harrods of London each year and held her own exhibitions every two years in her home studio, in a tiny village called Middridge.
Barbara was inspired to paint seriously after her mother passed away ten years ago.
"When coming back to England for the funeral, I packed up all mum's antiques, art materials ect and had them shipped back here to Australia. It was then,I decided to concentrate solely on my Art."
This particular selection of Paintings are quite diverse, a range of Expressions.
I like to think people will smile and have this overwhelming feeling of contentment, when viewing my art work.
I adore painting humorous art, it keeps my interest tickled and lively.
I don't go in for stylistic labeling.
